“While the Lanesborough Hotel in London is
known as one of the world’s finest for its exceptional dining, shopping, &
luxury amenities, the best part for many tourists may just be the cute kitty on
duty.
Lilibet the Siberian forest cat checked in
last June to become the hotel’s most precious staff member. It isn’t exactly
clear if she has additional duties other than receiving belly rubs, so don’t
expect her to drag your heavy suitcase upstairs.
Lilibet is tended to by the cat committee,
workers who volunteer their time to watch her during their shifts.
She isn’t the only feline in the hotel
chain. The Oetker Hotel Collection employs Burmese cat Fa-Raon at Le Bristol
Paris & Kleopatre at Brenners Park-Hotel in Baden-Baden, Germany.”
